Greeting from Headmaster

MISSION STATEMENT  High Point Christian Academy is committed to Christ-centered, quality education and academic excellence in partnership with family and church within a loving, caring atmosphere.

What a privilege it is for High Point Christian Academy (HPCA) to offer an education program that is CHRIST-CENTERED in philosophy and in practice.  In every aspect of school life, it is our sincere desire to point students to Christ on a daily basis.  While we do teach Bible in the classroom, provide worship opportunities in chapel, and involve students in mission and ministry outreach, it is our aim for all student experiences to aid in helping students to become mature followers of Christ.

A QUALITY EDUCATION is well-rounded.  At HPCA we offer a comprehensive curriculum which allows students to exercise and develop their unique gifts and talents as they pursue learning and growth opportunities in academics, fine arts, athletics and ministry.  We are blessed to have an outstanding group of professionals to lead our students each day as they pursue their individual goals and aspirations.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE is foundational to the HPCA program.  The Academy marked the completion of fourteen years of operation with the commencement of our fifth graduating class, of which 97% are attending colleges and universities across the country, including Wake Forest University, UNC-Chapel Hill, Seton Hall University and our city’s own High Point University. The Class of 2010 was awarded $2,668,462 in college scholarships. In addition to the outstanding success of our graduates, HPCA students continue to excel in nationally standardized testing and academic achievement.

Our commitment to family is evidenced as we partner with PARENTS and CHURCH to help students achieve and grow, and as we provide a nurturing atmosphere that reflects the LOVE of Christ. Results from a recent Parent Satisfaction Survey indicate that, compared to other schools of our size, HPCA parents are more satisfied with their child’s education than 94% of Christian school parents across the country.

Sincerely,
